Death
WARREN — The funeral for Wilbur R. Furr, 74, 202 Washington St. N.W., who died Tuesday, will be Monday at 1 p.m. at McFarland Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pine Knoll Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Mr. Furr was born Oct. 9, 1918, in Columbia Mines, W.Va., the son of John W. and Gracie Enochs Furr. An Army veteran of World War Il, he had worked at Cortland Chicken Poultry Co. Mr. Furr was a member of Central Social Club and NAUS. He had enjoyed sports, hunting and fishing. Survivors include a son, Hank W. of Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Richard of Akron; a sister, Astle Greaber of Clarksburg, W.Va.; and a grandchild. A brother, James, and two sisters, Mary Shingleton and Aretta Day, preceded him in death.Warren Tribune Chronicle, Warren, Ohio, March 4, 1993
