BRIDGEPORT – Mrs. Gracie Mae Furr, 62, of Route 1, Green Valley community, died at 2 a.m. today in a Clarksburg hospital. She was born Dec. 9, 1894, at Lawrenceburg,Tenn., daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Shults Enochs. Surviving are her husband, the Rev. John Wesley Furr, three sons, Wilbur Furr, of Tampa, Fla., James Furr, of Farmsdale, Ohio, and Richard Furr, of Clarksburg, three daughters, Mrs. Emmett Shingleton, of Route 3, Mrs. Aretta Day, of Lovittsburg, Ohio, and Miss Austie Mae Furr, at home, two sisters, Mrs. French Wilson, of Clarksburg, and Mrs. George Houser, of Lawrenceburg, Tenn., 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Union Mission Church of Green Valley.Endnotes
