Death
Clara R. Jenkins, 76, of Macfarlan, Ritchie County, died Monday morning, May 24, in the Ohio Valley Hospital at Steubenville. Mrs. Jenkins was born May 15, 1900, in Ritchie County, a daughter of the late John Furr and Mrs. Furr. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. John (Margaret) Lynch of Elyria, O., Mrs. Kenneth (Helen) Kerns of Weirton, and Mrs. Ralph (Yvonne) Flemming of Eastlake, O.; two sons, Dale J. Jenkins of Colliers, W.Va. and Chester Jenkins of Rockport; one brother, Basil Furr of Maryland; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Dulaney of Petroleum and Mrs. Mabel Jones of Glenville. Funeral services were held Wednesday afernoon at the Macfarlan Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Orville Cunningham officiating. Burial followed in the Nutter Cemetery at Macfarlan, Raiguel Funeral Home in charge.Endnotes
