Death
Mrs. Bessie Furr Dulaney, 82, Route 1, Petroleum, died Tuesday in the Camden-Clark Memorial Hospial, Parkersburg. She was born in Wirt County, a daughter of the late John W. and Emily Deem Furr. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. She is survived by three sons, Charles of Akron, Ohio, Marvin of Petroleum, and Merlyn Dulaney of Powhatan Point, Ohio; two daughters, Evagene Sellers and Genevieve Duber, both of Akron, Ohio; a brother, Basil Furr of Savage, Md.; two sisters, Mable Jones of Glenville and Leona Cain of Chillicothe, Ohio; 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Delaney; and three sons. Services were conducted Friday afternoon at the Raiguel Funeral Home with the Rev. Ezra Higgins officiating. Burial was in the Lewis Cemetery.Endnotes
