Death

Benjamin F. Dulaney, 79, Ritchie County, and his son, Haley Dulaney, 49, of Akron, O., lost their lives in the Hughes River a short distance above Boy Scout Camp Kootaga in Wirt County Thursday afternoon when their car ran off W.Va. Rt. 47 and plunged into a deep hole of water. Double funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Cisco United Methodist Church. The Rev. Orval Cunningham was the officiating minister, and interment was in the Lewis Cemetery. Raiguel Funeral Home, Cairo, was in charge of arrangements.
