Death
Norman Wallace Snow, 69, of 221 duPont Boulevard, died at 5:55 p.m. Thursday after a short illness of pneumonia. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alice Furr Snow; six sons, Robert A., Russell W. and Thomas A., of Waynesboro; William H., of Washington, D. C.; Floyd A., of New Orleans, La.; and Haywood A., of Cleveland, Ohio; by four daughters, Mrs. Earl Wine, Mrs. Hugh Copper, Mrs. Jack Newberry, and Mrs. Thomas Bear, all of Waynesboro; by two sisters, Mrs. J. W. Byers, of Harrisonburg, and Mrs. A. O. Furr, of Richmond; and by two brothers, Charles Snow, of Centerville, and R. S. Snow, of South Carolina. Also surviving are 21 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 o'clock at the Etter Funeral Home where the body now rests. Interment will be in the Pleasant View Cemetery near Staunton. Rev. R. O. Hipes, pastor of the New Hope Methodist Church, will conduct the service. Pallbearers will include:ACTIVE:-Emmett W. Barger, Russell Barger, Raymond C. Webb, Clarence Hiserman, E. F. Stover, and Edward E. Turner.
HONORARY:-Elbert Fockler, Percy S. Lackey, William Caldwell, R. B Harry, Guy H. Branaman, R. V. Chew, Jack Hughes, David Lamb, Clarence Hanger, Al Drumheller, David Snelson, Clifford Schwab, and William Merritt.
