Death
Harry E. Furr, widely known farmer and beloved resident of Aldie, died at 9 o’clock Sunday morning at his home following an illness of three days from a heart attack. Mr. Furr was the son of the late Johnson Furr and had spent his entire life in the Aldie community where he had a host of friends. He was unmarried. Mr. Furr is survived by his mother, Mrs. Ida Blanche Furr, with whom he lived; two sisters, Mrs. Virginia Goode, Aldie, and Mrs. Edward Smith, Sterling, and two brothers, D. Otto Furr, Middleburg, and Irving Furr, Cleveland. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon from his late home and were conducted by the Rev. W. D. King. Burial was in Sharon Cemetery, Middleburg.Loudoun News, Leesburg, Virginia, August 14, 1947
