Word has been received of the death Thursday in Columbus of Sherman H. Furr, 59, son of Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Furr of 1169 W. High; brother of Jack of 3295 Blue Lick, Roy of 328 W. Kibby, Ray of Rt. 6 Cridersville, Charles of 309 Calumet, Homer of 719 W. Kibby and Mrs. Ada Childs, 1707 St. Johns Ave., Walter and James Furr of Kenton. Mr. Furr was also survived by his wife and one son in Columbus. Services were charge of O.R. Woodyard Co. Chapel in Columbus.The Lima News, Lima, Ohio, 11/1/1974
