On Sunday, October 8, 1972, at George Washington University Hospital, Elizabeth Anne Green of 6715 Lumsden st. McLean, Va.; beloved wife of William S. Green; mother of Stephen G. Green of the residence, Mrs. Elizabeth Marie Anderson and Mrs. Stephanie Altizer both of Richmond, Va.; daughter of Mrs. Marie K. Burgess of Arlington, Va., and the late George L. Burgess. Friends may call at the Ives Funeral Home, 2847 Wilson blvd, Arlington, Va., on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the Charles Wesley Methodist Church, 6817 Dean dr. McLean, Va., on Thursday, October 12, at 12 noon. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.The Evening Star, Washington, DC, October 10, 1972
Elizabeth Anne Green, 48, of 6715 Lumsden Street, McLean died Sunday at George Washington University Hospital after a long illness. Mrs. Green worked for National Geographic and the internal Revenue Service before she was married. She was a former Sunday School teacher for Charles Wesley Methodist Church, Mclean and an active member of its women's society. She enjoyed sewing, and gardening as hobbies. She was born in Cherrydale, Arlington County. Mrs. Green is survived by her husband, William S.; a son, Stephen G of the home; two daughters: Elizabeth Marie Anderson and Stephanie Altizer both of Richmond and her mother, Marie K Burgess, Arlington. Services will be held at noon Thursday at the Charles Wesley Methodist Church with interment in Fort Lincoln Cemetery. Arlington Newspaper, October 10, 1972
