Death
VEEDERSBURG, Ind.— Omer Furr, a former Veedersburg resident, died Tuesday (March 24, 1970) at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. He is survived by his widow, Gladys Boggs Furr; a son, James of Overland, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Marr of New Carlisle and Mrs. Eleanor Rectenwal of South Bend; a sister, Mrs. Mary Furr of Greenfield; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 11 a.m. EST Thursday at South Bend. Graveside rites will be at 4 p.m. EST Thursday at Rockfield Cemetery in Veedersburg. Parham Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.Endnotes
