Edmond Campbell Brantley

He was the son of Thomas Fulton Brantley, Sr. and Mary Magdaline "Anna" Holimon. He was married to Bobby Berry. He had one daughter Susan Brantley. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps on July 5, 1938 and he received a medical discharge in 1944. He was awarded the purple heart and other decorations. He retired from the Humble Oil Refinery, now ExxonMobil, in Baton Rouge, LA. He also repaired televisions as a second job. He remarried after his first wife died and lived in Lake Charles, LA. He died an accidental death when he caught fire while refueling a lawn mower. He was originally from Arkansas and was raised near Crossett.
