Note (fam)1905Having settled at Sherbrooke after their marriage, David, Alice and their 4 oldest children sailed from Sydney on the "Ramornie" and arrived in Ballina on 15 May 1905. Also on the boat was Mr G Knight (probably half brother George). The family lived with brother John on his farm at Eltham for a time before purchasing a property at Rock Valley, west of Lismore. This was the family farm taken over by son Cecil when David retired to 179 Casino St, South Lismore and Cecil remained on the farm until he died - Alice GRANGER
