Note	1888	After John & Annie married they apparently tried farming at North Yathong, outside Jerilderie, and their first 3 children were born there. According to family legend John bought the property with his father William. However it was unsuccessful (perhaps due to the beginnings of the Federation Drought) and by the time Alice was born in 1894 they had moved to Narrandera & then by 1896 when Annie was born they had settled at Jasper's Brush
