Death

NEWTON - Juanita Furr Robinson, 69, of Providence Mill Road, Maiden, died Jan. 18, 2001, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory. Born May 12, 1931, in Catawba County, she was a daughter of the late William R. and Edna Little Furr. A member of First Baptist Church, she retired as a secretary from Braswell Furniture after 15 years. Survivors include her husband, Henry Robinson; two daughters, Connie Robinson Henline of Bethlehem and Susan Robinson Baker of Conover; three brothers, Robert Furr and Cyril Furr of Newton and Lowrean Furr of Charlotte; two sisters, Vivian Abernathy of Newton and Gilbretta McGee of Charlotte; four grandchildren, Michael Steven Henline, Stephanie Rochelle Henline, Suzanne Kristen Henline and Charles Michael Baker; and a great-grandchild, Dylan Michael Rios. A memorial service will be conducted by the Rev. David Gary at 2 p.m. Saturday at her church. A private burial will be held in Catawba Memorial Park.
