Death
MAIDEN - Henry Lemar Robinson, 81, of Maiden, passed away Aug. 8, 2007, at Catawba Valley Medical Center. He was born May 9, 1926, in Catawba County to the late Roland and Ora Tina Robinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Furr Robinson. He enjoyed woodworking and hunting. In addition, he received several awards for his skeet shooting. Survivors include his daughters, Connie Henline and her husband, Mike, of Taylorsville, and Susan Baker and her husband, Michael, of Conover; grandchildren, Steven Henline, Stephanie Young, Suzanne Walsh and Charles Baker; and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at Catawba Funeral Home. A celebration of life service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 10, 2007, at Catawba Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service. Members of Hickory American Legion Post 48 Honor Guard will perform military rites.
