Death

Mrs. Etta Furr Shinn, 67, of Mecklenburg Avenue, died Sunday at Charlotte Memorial Hospital. Funeral is 11 a.m. Tuesday at McEwen West Chapel. Burial will be in Sharon Memorial Park. Survivors are sons, James Thompson Jr. of Matthews, Larry Thompson of Myrtle Beach; brother, L.A. Furr, six grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at McEwen of Charlotte.
