LINDALE -- Services for Mrs. Alice Louise Provan, 53, Nacogdoches are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Ed B. Caudle Chapel in Lindale with the Rev. Gale Galloway officiating. Burial will be in Lindale Cemetery. Born in Cade, Okla., she lived most her life in Irving and lived in Lindale one year before moving to Nacogdoches. She was a housewife and a Baptist. Survivors include five sons, Robert Provan and John Provan, both of Nacogdoches, Phillip Provan of Irving and James Provan Jr. and David Provan, both of Grand Prairie; one daughter, Cynthia Bramblett of Irving: her mother, Mrs. J. M. Furr of Lindale; three brothers, Gerald Furr of Dallas, Richard Furr of Lindale and Donald Furr with the U.S. Navy; six sisters, Iowene Harmon and Mary Hilburn, both of Lindale, Wanda Wilson and Joy England, both of New Mexico, Lula Hilton of Texas City and Zoe Yocum of Lindale; and five grandchildren. Pallbearers will be James Provan Jr., David Provan, Phillip Provan, Richard Furr, Gerald Furr and Donald Furr.
