Death
Funeral services for Wanda Wilson, age 67, of Lindale are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home chapel in Lindale with Rev. Bryon Howard officiating. Interment will follow in the Lindale City Cemetery. Mrs. Wilson was born June 17, 1945 in Vernon, Texas the daughter of the late James Melburn and Pinkie Parlee (Duty) Furr. She passed away Thursday, October 11, 2012 in a Tyler hospital. Mr. Wilson grew up in Lindale and graduated from Lindale High School. She moved back to Lindale in 1982 and was a member of Central Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Wilson Sr., brother, Richard Furr, sisters; Iowene Harmon and Mary Hilburn. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her sons, Michael Wilson Jr. of Dallas, Tommy Wilson and Paul Wilson both of Lindale, William "Hank" Wilson of Whitehouse, John Wilson of Brownsboro; brother, Don Furr of Greenock, Scotland; sister, Lula Hilton of Winnsboro and 15 grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.Endnotes
