ALBEMARLE — Gracie Furr Little, 68, of 712 Corbin St. died at 3:45 am Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1993 at her home. The funeral will be at 2 pm Friday at Stanly Funeral Home Memorial Chapel conducted by the Rev. Furman Wilhoit. Burial will be at Canton Baptist Church cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home on Thursday night from 7 to 9. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly County 921 N Third St, Albemarle N'C 28001. Born Sept 2 1924, in Stanly County, Mrs. Little was a daughter of the late George C. and Bertha Beck Furr. A retired employee of Wiscassett Mill Co., she was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. Her husband Bille Dee Little Jr. died Nov. 4, 1991. Survivors include a daughter Patricia L. Napier of the home. a brother, Fred Furr of Albemarle, two sisters Gladys Morgan of Charlotte and Betty Jane Furr of Albemarle two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Endnotes
