Death

Mary Pauline Furr Lloyd, 88 of Cameron, passed on December 2, 2022 at the FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC. A visitation will be held from 1 to 2pm on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Calvary Missionary Methodist Church followed by a service at 2 pm. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Lloyd was born July 26, 1934 in St.Pauls, NC to the late James Thomas Furr and Martha Ann (Wilkes) Furr. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved taking vacations, watching wrestling, and working her crossword puzzles. She attended church at Calvary for many years and loved the lord with all her heart. She loved to read her Bible. Mrs. Lloyd is survived by her husband of 54 years, George Richard Lloyd; two daughters, Linda Smith (Jerry) of Cameron and Charisse Parrish (Robert) of Cameron; three sons, Ricky Lloyd of Cameron, James Carl Cummings of Wendell, and Glen Cummings of Four Oaks, NC; two sisters, Gladys Burrows of Randleman, NC and Earline Dow of Sanford, NC; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Cummings; a sister, Josephine Starnes; and two brothers, Robert Furr and Charles Furr. Services entrusted to Miller-Boles Funeral Home of Sanford.
