Death
Funeral services for Everett G. Furr, 46, who died yesterday at his home in Matthews, will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. at the Matthews Methodist Church. The Rev. P. T. Dixon, pastor, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. A. G. Lackey, former pastor, and the Rev. Claude G. Pepper, pastor of Matthews Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in Mathews Cemetery. Mr. Furr was the son of Mrs. H. B. Furr. He was a member of the Matthews Methodist Church and a member of the church choir. He was manager of the N Tryon St. A&P Store meat department in Charlotte. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Conder Furr; three brothers, Max F. Furr of Wilmington, Herman W. Furr of Mooresville, and James C. Furr of Monroe; and a sister, Mrs. J. E.
