MOUNT PLEASANT — Doyle Lee Furr, 37, of Route, 1, died early today at his home. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Herrins Grove Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Cliff Allen officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will be at Hartsell Funeral Home, Albemarle, tonight from 7 to 9. He was born Dee. 1, 1937 in Stanly County and was a farmer. Survivors are his parents, Paul S. and Fannie Moyle Furr of Route 1; three brothers, J. Van, Cecil and Donnie Furr of Albemarle; four sisters, Mrs. Eugene Thompson, Mrs. Louise Holt, Mrs. Elmer Hopkins and Mrs. Eldon Holt of Albemarle.Endnotes
