Death
MONROE, Nov, 24. — Mrs. H. M. Furr, 88, died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. B. B. Hartsell, this evening. She was a daughter of the late John Sloan and Eliza Crowell Hunter. Funeral serve ices will be held at Union Grove Methodist church. The time has not been decided but the services will probably be held Friday afternoon. Burial will be in Emanuel cemetery. She is survived by five sons, including L. S. Furr of Charlotte, three daughters, including Mrs. C. J. Freeman of Charlotte, 28 grandchildren, and 30) great-grandchildren.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, November 25, 1948
