Death

Mrs. Eliza Hunter, widow of Mr. John S. Hunter, who died twenty-five years ago, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry M. Furr, at the old Crowell home place in Goose Creek. She was 48 (sic) years of age and had been perfectly helpless for six years with paralysis. Mrs. Hunter was the last of the nine children of Michael and Jane Crowell, of whom there were nine all of whom reached ages running from 81 to 88 years. Of these children, the late Mrs. G. W. Flow was the youngest and she died at the age of 81. Mrs. Hunter always lived at the home place and is survived by only one child, Mrs. Furr. She was a member of the Lutheran church and the remains were buried at Emanuel today.
