Death
Funeral services for Mr. Furr are set for 2 p.m. Friday in the Hugo Assembly of God church, the Rev. J. A. Hobson officiating. Coffey Funeral Home will make burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery. Funeral service arrangements were pending Monday afternoon with Coffey Funeral Home for William Clarence Furr, 84, a Choctaw county resident since 1921. Mr. Furr died Monday at 2:10 p.m. at his home at 905 West Clayton street after illness. He was a retired farmer, born March 8, 1878. He was an Assembly of God church member. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Nellie Furr; four children and 33 other descendants. The former are Ezra Furr and Mrs. Ruth Crane, both of Hugo; James Furr, Coos Bay, Ore.; and Mrs. Ivy Neitch, of Denton, Tex. One sister, Mrs. Maudie Wade, lives in Tennessee.The Southeast Oklahoman, Hugo, Oklahoma, June 28, 1962
