Mrs. Alice Davis was born Aug, 2, 1870 in Tennessee, daughter of James A. Furr and Fannie Blake Furr. She died Saturday morning, Nov. 1, 1952, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. I. S. Bland in Russellville, Okla. Funeral rites were held at the First Baptist church, Quinton, Okla., Monday, Nov. 3, with the pastor, Rev. N. R. Barr in charge. Songs used were: “Sate In The Arms of Jesus,” “Sweet By and By,” “The Home Over There.” Survivors are R. W. Davis, Little Rock, Ark.; Mrs. Lillie Bland, Quinton, Okla.; Mitchell Davis, Quinton; Fred Davis, Beaumont, Kan.; R. L. Davis, Wasco, Calif.; W. W. Davis, Grass Valley, Calif., also 27 grandchildren, and other relatives and friends. Pallbearers were: Clarence McKee, W. J. Manning, H. L. Vangundy, G. C. McKee, Jimmy Works, Nolen Wren.
