Death

Mrs. Bennie Lou Bennett, 72, formerly of 1836 First Ave., died Dec. 10, 1987, at the Briar Hill Nursing Home. Services are 3:30 p.m. today at Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home with burial in Richland Cemetery. Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 12 noon and after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Mrs. Bennett, a native and lifelong resident of Jackson, was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by her three sisters, Miss Julia Furr and Mrs. Grace Houck, both of Richland and Mrs. Bonnie Melvin of Pearl.
