Death
CONCORD, Nov. 7. — Funeral will be held Thursday at 4 p. m. at McKinnon Presbyterian church for Daniel Robert Furr, 72, who died Tuesday at his home. The body will be taken to the church 30 minutes before the funeral. Burial will be in Oakwood cemetery. Mr. Furr is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Vander B. Lowder, Mrs. D. M. Sherwood, and Mrs. C. E. Mesimer and Mrs. L. M. Belvin, of Concord; one son, Floyd A. Furr, of Newport News; one sister, Mrs. Hamp Smith, of Cabarrus county, 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.News and Record, Greensboro, North Carolina, November 8, 1945
