Death
The death angel visited the home of Mr. H. C. Furr on last Monday night September 2nd, and took from him his wife, Mrs. Catherine Furr. She leaves her husband and two children, eleven grandchildren, and a host of friends to mourn her death. The body was laid to rest in the Center Grove cemetery. She was a member of the Center Grove Methodist church. The funeral services were conducted by her pastor, Rev. Mr. Stamper.The Concord Daily Tribune, Concord, North Carolina, September 14, 1918
