Death

HENRIETTA, Texas — Wyladean Gabel, 78, of Byers died Sunday, Oct. 25, 2009, in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Byers Assembly of God, Byers, with Rev. James Keenum, former pastor of the Byers Assembly of God, officiating. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery, Byers, under the direction of Davis Funeral Home in Henrietta. Mrs. Gabel was a homemaker. Survivors include husband, Richard Gabel, Sr. of Byers; three sons, Richard, II of Moore, Okla., Gerald of Nicoma Park, Okla., and Kenneth of Byers; two daughters, Marilyn Cowan of Mustang, Okla., and Kathleen Keenum of Byers; brother, Roger Sharpe of Oklahoma City; sister, Marietta Doucet of Oklahoma City; 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Byers Assembly of God, P.O. Box 306, Byers, Texas, 76357; or to Hospice of Wichita Falls, Inc., P.O. Box 4804, Wichita Falls, Texas, 76308.
