Byers - Richard Gabel, 93, of Byers, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Richard was born on May 16, 1926 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Jared and Minnie Gabel. He served his country in the US Navy and married Wyladean Furr. Richard was retired from FAA where he worked as an Inspector. Richard was preceded in death by his parents and wife Wyladean. Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Cowan of Mustang, Oklahoma, and Kathleen Zachry and husband Brad of Byers, Texas; three sons, Richard Gabel, Jr. and wife Susan of Moore, Oklahoma, Gerald Gabel and wife Brenda of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Kenneth Gabel of Byers, Texas; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Vivian Madewell of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
