Death
Eloise Allbritton Furr, 83, died Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at the Nichols Center in Madison, MS. Visitation will begin at 12 noon Saturday, June 9 at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home with the service following at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Mrs. Furr was preceded in death by her parents, W.M. and Hettie Allbritton and two brothers, Ken and Doug Allbritton. She is survived by three sons, Michael Furr, Larry Furr and Tim Furr; two sisters, Sylvia Allbritton Gore and Deane Allbritton Thomas; three grandchildren, Bryant Furr, Carson Furr and Bethany Furr; other relatives and friends. Mrs. Furr was formerly an active member of Midway Baptist Church, then First Baptist Church of Clinton and finally of Colonial Heights Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital, 2500 N.
