Death
The funeral for Mrs. Selma G. Sams of Atlanta, a homemaker, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Norman Medford Funeral Home in Marietta, with burial at Westview Cemetery. Mrs. Sams, 90, died Friday at Heritage Convalescent Center. Surviving are two sons, Fred Sams of Fayetteville and William Sams of Memphis; six daughters, Jean Duffey of Marietta, Ruth Cranford of Jonesboro, Marion Ameen of Greensboro, N.C., Patricia S. Davis of Clemson, S.C., Phyllis Smith of Marietta and Paula Sams of Marietta; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grand-children; and eight great-great-grandchildren.The Atlanta Journal, Atlanta, Georgia, April 12, 1992
