Death
Funeral for Glenn William Furr, 52, of 1035 Calder will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Kelley-Hixson Funeral Home with burial in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. He died at 8:45 pm. Sunday at the Veterans Hospital in Houston after an illness. A native of Waxahachie, Texas, he lived in Beaumont 23 years and was a painter. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Jane Furr of Beaumont; three daughters, Lisa Furr, Glenda Furr and Sharon Furr, all of Beaumont; two sons, Richard Tharp and Robert Tharp; father, Henry Furr of Dallas; mother, Marjorie Rogers of Beaumont; and four grandchildren.Beaumont Journal, February 12, 1980
