Death
Doyle E. Furr, 48, of 1330 Elgie, died Monday morning at 8:30 a.m. in the Veterans Hospital in Houston, Texas. He was born and reared in Ellis County and had lived in Beaumont the last 20 years. Funeral services will be held in the Goff Funeral Home, Commerce, Texas, at 10 o'clock Thursday morning. He is survived by four children, Mrs. Patricia Miller, Lawrence Furr, Ricky Furr and Carolyn Furr all of Mesquite; one granddaughter, Karen Miller; his father, Mr. H.N. Furr of Dallas; his mother, Mrs. Margie Rogers of Beaumont; and one brother, Glenn W. Furr, Beaumont.Beaumont Journal, Beaumont, Texas, January 16, 1974
