ALBEMARLE — Phyllis Ann Furr Smith, 57, 603 Snuggs St , died Friday (Dec 10, 1993) at her home. Born Oct. 30, 1936 in Albemarle, Mrs. Smith was a daughter of Ossie Bell Waller Furr of Albemarle and the late Theodore Frank Furr. She had been employed as a printer (photos) with Bullock Professional Colour of Albemarle. Her husband, J. Michael Smith, preceded her in death Survivors, in addition to mother, include sons Phil, Dudley and Todd Speights, all of Albemarle, and Chad Smith, Albemarle, daughter Jackie S. Monaghan, Albemarle, brothers Randy, Sherrill and Tommy Furr, all of Albemarle, sisters Toby Pickler, New London, and Becky Jenkins, Concord, seven grandchildren, and one great-grandchild Services: 2 pm Monday, Hartsell Funeral Home, Lefler Memorial Chapel, Albemarle, conducted by the Rev.
