Death
Following an illness of two weeks, during which an operation was performed, Mrs. W. B. Simpson, of Newell, died at the Presbyterian hospital here at 9 o'clock last night. Funeral services will be held from the Hickory Grove M. E. church, near Newell, at 1 o’clock this afternoon, it was tentatively agreed last night. Mrs. Simpson, who was 46, leaves her husband and five children. Two daughters are Mrs. Baxter Taylor and Miss Ethel Simpson, both of Newell, and three sons are Felix Simpson, of Greensboro, and Roscoe and Bernard Simpson, who lived with their parents.The Charlotte Observer, Charlotte, North Carolina, December 24, 1920
