Death
Mrs. Mary Amanda Beard Furr died at Silver Run. Mrs Furr age 85 widow of the late C.A. furr, died at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr and Mrs Hollis Smith. In the Silver Run community late Sunday. The body was sent from here to Hartman Funeral Home in Brookhaven and arrangements were not known here. Mrs Furr had been residing in the Smith home for the past 12 to 15 years. Besides Mrs Smith, Mrs Furr is surived by two daughters and a son: Mrs C.F. Ard, of Jayess, Mrs William Hughes, Ashland, Ohio, and Mr. L.R. Furr, Pascagoula Ms.The Poplarville Democrat, Poplarville, Mississippi, April 10, 1966
