THOMPSON, Mrs. Lula Furr, age 84, of 602 Avenue F, Lipscomb, passed away Wednesday morning at a local hospital. Survived by 1 son, Howard Thompson, of Georgetown, S. C.; 5 grandchildren; 3 sisters, Mrs. Joe Hurd, of Birmingham; Mrs. L. P. Edmundson, of Brighton, and Nettie Thompson, of Lipscomb; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Friday at 2 p.m. from Brown-Service Bessemer Chapel with the Rev. James B. Cambron officiating, interment Union Cemetery.
