Death
PONTOTOC — Francis K. ‘Pat’ Furr, 63, retired engineer for the state Highway Department, died Sunday morning at Pontotoc Community Hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Browning Funeral Home with burial in Pontotoc City Cemetery. He was a member of Pontotoc First United Methodist Church and a World War II Navy veteran. Furr, the husband of Rosalee Frantz Furr, also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Jimmy Caldwell of Pontotoc; a son, Byron K.
