Death
PONTOTOC — Byron E. Furr Jr., 64, retired pharmacist, died yesterday morning at Pontotoc Community Hospital after a long illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with burial in Pontotoc City Cemetery. Browning Funeral Home has charge. Mr. Furr was a World War II Navy veteran and was a recipient of the Bronze Star. He was also a member of Pontotoc Pharmaceutical Association. He leaves a brother, F.
