Death
Lonnie L. Furr, 75, of Spring Hill, died Wednesday, June 9, at Moffitt Cancer Center. He was born in Albermarle, N.C., and moved to this area 30 years ago from Miami. He was a retired letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, a World War II U.S. Marine Corp veteran, and a member of the Brooksville Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons, Dan of Pawley's Island, S.C., and Richard of Brooksville; three daughters, Linda Howell of Safety Harbor, Denise of Brooksville, and Tammy Watkins of Spring Hill; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
