CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Mrs. Magnolia Sasser Furr, 80, of Route 1, Pinecrest Mobile Home Park, Fort Mill, died Tuesday at York General hospital. Funeral services will be Friday at 12:30 p.m. at McEwen Funeral Home with burial at 2 p.m. at Oakboro Cemetery, Oakboro. Surviving are a son, Lonnie Lamar Furr of Brooksville, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Nell Lamb of Fort Mill; two brothers, Claude M. Sasser of Greensboro, N.C., and Paul R. Sasser of Pleasant Garden, N.C.; four sisters, Mrs. Bessie Kennedy of Oakboro, Mrs. Emma Hatley of Charlotte, Mrs. Dewey Smith and Mrs. Grady Williams, both of Marshville. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at McEwen Funeral Home, Charlotte.The Herald, Rock Hill, South Carolina, August 21, 1975
