Death
DROPPED DEAD AFTER RUNNING. Chester, S. C., Sept. 12. William Furr, who has been an operative at one of the mills in Chester, dropped dead this, morning as he was boarding a train at the Southern passenger station. Mr. Furr had thought he was late, and had run some distance; and the excitement and spirited exercise, were thought to have caused his death by Coroner J.Henry Gladden and jury. Mr. Furr was only 19 years of age, and had no near relatives in this part of the country.The Charlotte News, September 12, 1919
