Death
Young Len Furr, the 12 year old son of Mr. John Furr, who lives on Mr. W. G. Newell's place in No. 10 township, dropped dead last Wednesday afternoon about 2 o'clock. He had been catching chickens in the yard and over-exerted himself. He had caught two chickens and just as he caught a third he dropped dead. He was rather a delicate boy, and was afflicted with heart disease -- Concord, N. C. Times.The Lancaster News, Lancaster, South Carolina, August 7, 1907
