Death
Mrs. Sarah F. Hunter, 60, of 6704 Old Statesville Rd. died Dec. 20, 1986, at Presbyterian Hospital of a heart attack. Funeral is 2 p.m. Monday at Williams Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. McEwen Funeral Home, Derita chapel, is in charge. Mrs. Hunter, a Cabarrus County native, was a homemaker. Survivors are her husband, Fred; sons, Michael Hunter, Andy Hunter; brothers, Frank Furr of Harrisburg, Edward Furr; sisters, Mrs. Ann Love of Albemarle, Mrs. Ruth Hunnicutt of Monroe, Mrs. Myra McDuffie; four grandchildren. Memorials can be made to Diabetes Services, 1401 E. Seventh St., Charlotte, N.C. 28204; or to Williams Memorial Cemetery fund, 4700 Beatties Ford Rd., Charlotte, N.C. 28216; or to American Heart Association, 1300 Baxter St., Suite 101, Charlotte, N.C. 28204.
