Death
Mrs. Timia Elizabeth Nicholson, 83, a pioneer settler of Collinsville, died at her home there Thursday morning. She was a member of a family prominent in church, civic and business activities. She is survived by daughter, Miss Louise Nicholson, Collinsville; one son, Dr. L. M. Nicholson, Gadsden; two grandchildren; Miss Betty Bradford, Gadsden; and Tom Scott Nicholson, Gadsden; two sisters, Mrs. E. H. Small, and Miss Mary Leake. Funeral services were held at the residence Friday at 3:00 p. m. with the Rev. Ivan Trusler, Rev. J. T. N. Keels and Rev. Mr. Brasher officiating. Interment was in Collinsville cemetery with Wilson Funeral Home in charge. Pallbearers were Carl Porter, Jordan Reed, Clyde Robertson, Stanley Brindley, Mr. May and Mr. Vance.The Fort Payne Journal, Fort Payne, Alabama, October 22, 1941
