Death
Services were held Wednesday morning at 10:00 o’clock for Mrs. Cora Lee Furr in Stringtown Presbyterian Church. Rev. Lyle H, Gilliam officiated. Burial was in Stringtown cemetery with Bingham Funeral Home in charge. Mrs. Furr died Monday in Memorial hospital. She was born Dec. 28, 1881 in Camden, Ark. and had lived at Stringtown 40 years. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and the Eastern Star. Survivors include three daughters, Grace Kellogg, of Daisy, Ruth Logan of Stringtown and Mary Ishmael of Atoka; two sons, Albert of Atoka and Cecil of Stringtown; one sister, Mrs. Susie Speck, Afferle, Kans.; one brother, L. R. White, Sttingtown (sic), 14 grand children and 22 great grand children. Pallbearers were her grandsons, Rex Furr, Sam Roberts, Bill Kellogg, Bruce Furr, Guy Kellogg, Jr., and Jim Kellogg.The Atoka County Times, Atoka, Oklahoma, June 4, 1964
