Mrs. Leigh Mitchell, 48, of 6314 Percy Drive, died yesterday in Park View Hospital after a brief illness. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Woodlawn Memorial Park, with Rev. Frank F. Drowota officiating. Roesch-Patton-Cosmopolitan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Mitchell was the wife of retired Air Force Lt. Col. Glenn Mitchell, who has been the chief pilot for Hospital Corp. of America since 1969. She is a native of Rock Hill, S.C. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Miss Leslie Ann Mitchell, Nashville, and Mrs. Phylis Lee Fournier, Birmingham; a son, Joseph Anthony Mitchell, Savannah, Ga.; her mother, Mrs. James H. Furr, Rock Hill; a brother, Ernest Furr, Aiken, S.C.: a sister, Mrs. J.B. Williams, Atlanta, and a grandchild.The Tennessean, Nashville, Tennessee, September 5, 1975
