Death
Mrs. Ada Mae W. Furr, 93, widow of J.H. Furr Sr., died Saturday. Born in Lancaster, she was a daughter of the late Thornwell and Texarcana Freeman Williams. She was a retired employee of the Old Standard Mills (Highland Park Manufacturing Co.) Surviving are a son, Ernest F. Furr of Aiken; a daughter, Mrs. Ruby F. Williams of Atlanta; sisters, Mrs. Delia Misenheimer of Rock Hill and Mrs. Hester Brown of Jacksonville, Fla.; and grandchildren. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in Laurelwood Cemetery. Greene Funeral Home is in charge.The State, Columbia, South Carolina, August 18, 1985
